Amending the Guideline Index

If you’ve downloaded extra guidelines from the INPS website, you might want to place them on your Local Guideline Index to make them easier for everyone in the practice to find.

Here’s how to do this:

Adding existing Reports or Guidelines into the Local Guideline or Reports Index

1. Log into Vision and open Consultation Manager

2. Open the Local Guideline/ Reports Index: 

     

  • Go to Guidelines on the menubar, and click Select Guideline
  • Type U_INDEX in the mnemonic box, and press Return
  • Click on the View button

3. Switch to Design Mode by clicking on the setsquare.bmp icon.

4. Click on the “Embed Guideline” icon book.bmp

5. Search for the guideline/ report, and click OK once you have found it.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for any more guidelines/ reports you wish to embed.

7. Click on the Save icon save.bmp

8. Come out of design mode by clicking on the icon  again. setsquare.bmp

Removing existing Reports or Guidelines from the Local Guideline or Reports Index

1. Log into Vision and open Consultation Manager

2. Open the Local Guideline/ Reports Index

3. Switch to Design Mode by clicking on the icon. setsquare.bmp

4. Right-click on the guideline you want to delete and choose “Delete”

5. Repeat step 4 for any more guidelines/ reports you wish to delete.

6. Click on the Save icon save.bmp

7. Come out of design mode by clicking on the icon again setsquare.bmp
