Product Focus: Vision Patient Care Messaging

Posted in: product focus by Adrian at 3:37pm 0 comments

Introducing Vision Patient Care Messaging - A new service for patient communication.

INPS now offers you the ability to contact patients in a cost effective and immediate way, by sending patients an SMS (text message) to their mobile phone.

Vision Patient Care Messaging allows Practice staff to contact large groups of patients when running QOF health promotion campaigns. Patients can also respond by text, with replies automatically forwarded to an assigned practice email address. Compared to traditional communication, text messaging is highly personalised and allows practices to target and contact hundreds of patients within minutes.

Requests for Change

Read Codes

The NHSIA has a service to allow Read Codes to be maintained. It allows you to submit your requests directly to the NHSIA Read Code requests database. Submission is via a web based form, thus removing delays inherent in manual input. Automated email responses will enable users to follow the progress of their request from the assignment of Request ID to the issue of a Pre-release Provisional Response and a Final Response once the Read Release has been completed.

Click here to go to The NHS Terminology Service.

Clinical Audit

Requests for new Clinical Audits should be entered on the Clinical Audit form, which is available here.

Vision Software Request

This form is for Vision software “wish-list” type items, rather than “support” type items. The Vision Software Request for Change form is here.
