CURRENT ACTION BEING TAKEN: Atos advise that the capacity issue has been resolved and service is believed to be restored. Close system monitoring continues.

Choose and Book Problems

DESCRIPTION: Users are reporting intermittent errors within the Choose and Book system.

IMPACT: Users intermittently experiencing logon issues and slow performance within choose and book.

Atos are currently investigating the issue.

Atos are reporting that this issue has now been resolved.

A piece of service impacting work is scheduled for the Choose & Book service which will result in it being unavailable whilst essential maintenance is undertaken.

Detail/Impact

Release 4.0 of Choose and Book is due to be made available from 12th April 2008.

Notification of Choose and Book Release 03.06.00 Implementation

We have received notification of the release of the latest implemetation of Choose and Book.

Background:
 
NHS Connecting for Health completed essential planned maintenance to the Choose and Book system on Saturday, 1st December 2007. This work was the next step in a programme of system improvements to implement additional functionality and resolve issues identified by current live sites.
